Helen Zhao is a former elected member of the Student Workers of Columbia-UAW 2710 Bargaining Committee. From 2019-2020, she helped to negotiate the union’s first contract. She is a PhD candidate in Philosophy, SoF/Heyman Public Humanities Fellow, and member of the Harvard GenderSci Lab as well as Motherhood and Technology Working Group at the Columbia Center for the Study of Social Difference. Her dissertation is on feminist values in science and medicine.
