The\u00a0Paris Reading Group<\/h1>\n

Fall 2017<\/h1>\n

with Florent Jakob, Daniele Lorenzini, Christine Valero, and Loren Wolfe<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The purpose of this reading group, which runs parallel to the New York seminar led by Columbia University Professors Bernard Harcourt and Jes\u00fas Velasco on the Columbia campus, is to explore different forms of uprising in both theoretical and practical terms through the writings of a number of philosophers and critical thinkers of the nineteenth and twentieth century.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Paris reading group will be led by Florent Jakob, Daniele Lorenzini, Christine Valero, and Loren Wolfe. The sessions will be held at Columbia Global Centers | Paris,\u00a04 rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris (metro line 4 Vavin or RER B Port-Royal).<\/p>\n

There will be two sessions of the reading group:<\/p>\n

A seminar of the Coll\u00e8ge International de Philosophie<\/a> led by Isabelle Galichon and Daniele Lorenzini will also be held at Reid Hall and will explore similar topics:<\/p>\n
