He is the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&amp;ion=1&amp;espv=2&amp;ie=UTF-8#q=Alain+Badiou%2C+une+trajectoire+pol%C3%A9mique+(La+Fabrique%2C+2009\"><em>Alain Badiou, une trajectoire pol\u00e9mique<\/em><\/a> (La Fabrique, 2009); <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dukeupress.edu\/badiou-and-politics\">Badiou and Politics<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Duke University Press, 2011); and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.versobooks.com\/books\/1755-the-actuality-of-communism\"><em>The Actuality of Communism<\/em><\/a> (Verso, 2011). He is currently preparing two new books, <em>Marx and Freud in Latin America\u00a0<\/em>and <em>After Borges: Literature and Antiphilosophy<\/em>. He has translated Alain Badiou\u2019s <em>Theory of the Subject<\/em> (Continuum, 2009). Other\u00a0translations include Badiou\u2019s <em>Can Politics Be Thought?<\/em> followed by <em>Of an Obscure Disaster: On the End of the Truth of State<\/em> and <em>What Is Antiphilosophy?<\/em> <em>Essays on Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Lacan<\/em> (both for Duke University Press) as well as Wittgenstein\u2019s <em>Antiphilosophy<\/em> (for Verso).<\/p>\n<p>Bruno Bosteels is the author of dozens of articles on modern Latin American literature and culture, and on contemporary European philosophy and political theory. His research interests also\u00a0include the crossovers between art, literature, theory and cartography; the radical movements of the 1960s and 1970s; decadence, dandyism and anarchy at the turn between the 19th and 20th centuries; cultural studies and critical theory; and the reception of Marx and Freud in Latin America.
