He specializes in theory and criticism in art and philosophy in the 20<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> centuries. He has recently edited <a href=\"https:\/\/thenewpress.com\/books\/french-philosophy-since-1945\"><em>French Philosophy Since 1945: Problems, Concepts, Inventions<\/em><\/a> (2011) with Etienne Balibar and Anne Boyman, and is the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/mitpress.mit.edu\/books\/deleuze-connections\"><em>The Deleuze Connections<\/em><\/a> (2005); <em><u><a href=\"https:\/\/mitpress.mit.edu\/books\/constructions\">Constructions<\/a><\/u><a href=\"https:\/\/mitpress.mit.edu\/books\/constructions\"> (Writ<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/mitpress.mit.edu\/books\/constructions\">ing<\/a><u><a href=\"https:\/\/mitpress.mit.edu\/books\/constructions\"> Architecture)<\/a><\/u><\/em> (1998); \u00a0<em>Truth and Eros: Foucault, Lacan, and the Question of Ethics <\/em>(1991); \u00a0<em>Philosophical Events: Essays of the \u201880s <\/em>(1991); and <em>Michel Foucault: The Freedom of Philosophy <\/em>(1985). John Rajchman has previously taught at Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Coll\u00e8ge International de Philosophie in Paris, and The Cooper Union.
