She also coordinates the Laboratory on Aesthetics and Politics (LEP) and was previously professor here at PUC-Rio University. In Brazil and in Italy, she has produced and directed more than 30 theatre productions, largely inspired by\u00a0<i>The Theatre of the Oppressed<\/i>\u00a0and the\u00a0<i>Living Theatre.<\/i>\u00a0Her scholarship deals with the works of Augusto Boal, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Machado de Assis, Adolfo Celi and Giordano Bruno. She has published several books including\u00a0<i>The Italian Mission.
