Papers include:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2017\/06\/Webb-and-Gerrard-2017-06-Offshore-Carbon-Storage.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\u201cPolicy Readiness for Offshore Carbon Dioxide Storage in the Northeast,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2017\/06\/Legal-Pathways-for-a-Massive-Increase-in-Utility-Scale-Renewable-Generation-Capacity.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Legal Pathways for a Massive Increase in Utility-Scale Renewable Generation Capacity,&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2017\/08\/Rahman-and-Wentz-2017-08-The-Price-of-Climate-Deregulation.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cThe Price of Climate Deregulation: Adding Up the Costs and Benefits of Federal Greenhouse Gas Emission Standards&#8221;<\/a><\/em>\u00a0<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Center submitted comments to numerous agencies, including the EPA, FERC and the Bureau of Land Management.<\/li>\n<li>The Center sponsored 5 events, which can be viewed on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UComEaIxYDWew_Y2OS7E_nYA\">youtube channel<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Center received several prominent awards and recognition, including a \u201cDistinguished Achievement in Environmental Law and Policy Award\u201d from the American Bar Association and a \u201cDefender of Science\u201d Award from the Climate Legal Defense Fund, honoring Michael Gerrard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about our nine project areas (The Clean Air Act, Environmental Assessment, Energy Law, Adaptation, Securities and Climate Finance, Natural Resources, Human Rights, International and Foreign Law, and Threatened Island Nations), our Climate Law Blog, and numerous media and news items in which Michael Gerrard, Michael Burger and Sabin Center fellows were interviewed, quoted or mentioned, read the report\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/earthinstitute\/docs\/sabin-center-summer-fall-2017-repor?e=4098028\/56388081\">here.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>.<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The Sabin Center for Climate Change Law posted its Summer\/Fall 2017 Semi-Annual Report, which includes a summary of the Center\u2019s key activities between June and December 2017.
