It is available for download <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/earthinstitute\/docs\/105559_sabin_center-ws17_report_web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some highlights of the report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Center launched three online databases &#8211; the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/resources\/climate-deregulation-tracker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Climate Deregulation Tracker<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/resources\/state-ag-environmental-actions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">State Attorneys General Environmental Actions database<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lse.ac.uk\/GranthamInstitute\/research-theme\/governance-and-legislation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Climate Change Laws of the World<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Center sponsored 7 events, most of which can be viewed on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UComEaIxYDWew_Y2OS7E_nYA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Center published articles on a variety of topics. Papers include:\n<ul>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2017\/03\/070031715-Arnold.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York\u2019s New Sea Level Rise Projections Will Affect Land Use, Infrastructure<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2017\/03\/Wentz-2017-03-Planning-for-the-Effects-of-Climate-Change-on-Natural-Resources.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Planning for the Effects of Climate Change on Natural Resources<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/F9TC-ABEA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trump\u2019s\u00a0Executive Order on Regulatory Costs Undermines Congressional Authority<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Center submitted a <a href=\"https:\/\/columbiaclimatelaw.com\/files\/2016\/05\/Sabin-Center-Comments-to-EPA-on-Implementing-EO-13777.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">comment letter<\/a> to EPA on its implementation of President Trump\u2019s Executive Order on Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about our nine project areas (The Clean Air Act, Environmental Assessment, Energy Law, Adaptation, Securities and Climate Finance, Natural Resources, Human Rights, International and Foreign Law, and Threatened Island Nations), <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.law.columbia.edu\/climatechange\/\">Climate Law Blog<\/a>, and numerous media and news items in which Michael Gerrard, Michael Burger and Sabin Center fellows were featured, read the report <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/earthinstitute\/docs\/105559_sabin_center-ws17_report_web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law posted its Winter\/Spring 2017 Semi-Annual Report, which includes a summary of the Center\u2019s key activities between January and May 2017.
