In 2018-2019, he was also Visiting Scholar in the <a href=\"https:\/\/philosophy.columbia.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Philosophy<i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a> at Columbia University. He previously held postdoctoral fellowships in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cccct.law.columbia.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Columbia Center for Contemporary Critical Thought<i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pantheonsorbonne.fr\/unites-de-recherche\/isjps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institut des Sciences Juridique et Philosophique de la Sorbonne<i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a>. He was educated in Italy (Scuola Normale Superiore and Universit\u00e0 di Pisa), and he received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Paris-Est and Sapienza Universit\u00e0 di Roma.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He is the co-editor of two books series, <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vrin.fr\/collection.php?code=450\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Philosophie du pr\u00e9sent<\/em><i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a>\u00a0(Vrin) and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.press.uchicago.edu\/ucp\/books\/series\/CFOP.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Chicago Foucault Project<i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a><\/em>\u00a0(The University of Chicago Press), as well as of the peer-reviewed journal\u00a0<a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/rauli.cbs.dk\/index.php\/foucault-studies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Foucault Studies<\/em><i class=\"new-window-link\" title=\"Link opens in a new window\" aria-label=\"(Link opens in a new window)\"><\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniele Lorenzini joined Warwick\u2019s Philosophy Department in 2019, after a two-year Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship in the Centre Prosp\u00e9ro at the University of Saint-Louis, Brussels.
