She attended Barnard College where she majored in Political Science with a minor in Africana Studies. Her studies at Barnard focused on incarceration in the United States, criminal sentencing reform, and racial equity. Before joining the CCCCT, Ghislaine worked at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, the <a class=\"external\" tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"https:\/\/seattlepeoplesparty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikkita Oliver for Mayor<\/a>\u00a0campaign in Seattle, WA, and the Washington State Democrats.
