January 16, 2018 | Doyle Hamm Filed First Amended Complaint

After the state of Alabama files affidavits from nurses revealing that they are trying to draw blood from Doyle Hamm almost every other week, in what seems like a cruel effort to remind Doyle constantly of his looming torturous death, counsel for Doyle Hamm files a first amended complaint challenging the new forms of punishment as a violation of the Eight Amendment. The evidence of this new form of torture is in the state’s affidavits, which show:

1/ On October 3, 2017, nurse McDonald stuck Doyle Hamm with needles two times. Doc. 12 Ex. F at ¶5.

2/ On October 31, 2017, nurse McDonald stuck Doyle Hamm with needles two times. Doc. 12 Ex. F at ¶6.

3/ On November 7, 2017, nurse McDonald again stuck Doyle Hamm with a needle. Doc. 12 Ex. F at ¶6.

4/ That same day, November 7, 2017, nurse Wood stuck Doyle Hamm with a needle. Doc. 12 Ex. F ¶6; Doc. 12 Ex. G ¶4.
