The Fundamentals Series is designed to introduce law students to career options in various practice areas in corporate law, including Capital Markets, M&A, Bankruptcy, Investment Management, IP, and Commercial Litigation. 

Our intellectual property panelists have a range of experiences and will provide diverse perspectives on their career paths, what sort of challenges and risks an attorney must assess in intellectual property transactions and litigation, and will discuss the current trends in intellectual property. If you are interested in becoming a SLST member, you can sign up here! Membership dues are $10 and will allow you to:
  • Participate in SLST’s mentoring program
  • Attend exclusive networking events with IP/tech law firms and technology companies 
You can also pay dues by dropping them off in locker #179 in an envelope labeled with your 1) full name, 2) UNI, 3) class year. 


1L/LLM Representative Applications

1L/LLM Representatives are full members of SLST’s Executive Board and have the special responsibility of serving as the main liaisons to the 1L/LLM community. 1L/LLM Representatives also help shape and execute SLST’s program of events, and are in a unique position to network with the professors and attorneys that we partner with.
