CBLA (www.clscbla.com) and SLST are proud to host the Intellectual Property Panel, part of the Fundamentals of Corporate Law Series. The Fundamentals Series is designed to introduce law students to career options in various practice areas in corporate law, including Capital Markets, M&A, Bankruptcy, Investment Management, IP, and Commercial Litigation.
Our intellectual property panelists have a range of experiences and will provide diverse perspectives on their career paths, what sort of challenges and risks an attorney must assess in intellectual property transactions and litigation, and will discuss the current trends in intellectual property. They will also provide advice for students interested in pursuing careers in this field of law. There will be time at the end of the discussion to ask the speakers questions. Join the Society for Law, Science & Technology and renowned IP firm Morrison & Foerster to hear from two partners who have worked together on high profile patent litigation cases: Rich Hung, deputy chair of the IP Litigation Practice, and Peter Yim, head of the Electronics, Software & Telecommunications Patent Prosecution Group.
