SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAM – DEBUT, PARTY AND CONTACT INFORMATION
The Center for Public Interest Law and the Social Justice Initiatives program have been consolidated into a new entity – the Social Justice Program. We are very excited about the resulting synergies that will strengthen our current activities and lead to new ones. The Center for Public Interest Law will continue to provide programming and individual assistance to all students regarding career, summer and pro bono opportunities and decisions. SJP and the Office of Career Services already have begun discussing joint events and other ways that we can work together regarding professional development. The Social Justice Program also will continue SJI’s work, including externships, the National State Attorney General Program and the LL.M Pro Bono Fellowship Program. We soon will reach out to faculty and students to get your ideas. In the meanwhile, don’t hesitate to let me know your thoughts.
CELEBRATE THIS NEW VENTURE WITH US ON FEBRUARY 2nd, 5-7 P.M. IN JEROME GREENE ANNEX. It also will be an opportunity to thank Harlene Katzman for her years of service as the Dean of the Center for Public Interest Law, to congratulate Akua Akyea on her promotion to Director of International and Summer Programs, and to meet Natasha Patel, the Acting Dean for Career Services.
