The student printers have been upgraded with brand new, high-performance, high volume printers. We have also added a few more printers to the overall student printing pool. There is now a total of 9 student printers, at these locations:
- 4 student printers (up from 3) in the 3rd floor express kiosk area
- 3 printers (up from 2) in the 2nd floor lab.
The new printers will provide more reliable service and more printing options.
In an attempt to save paper and “go-green”, we have disabled the banner (separator) pages from all print job requests. Print jobs print the pages you intend to print; no more “control” pages.
Also by student request, the printers are configured to print double-sided by default. Students can easily switch to single-sided printing by following the on-screen instructions on the computer labs.
We hope you find this information useful and we are pleased to join students in the effort of saving energy.
