Fall 2019 – LLM – Legal Research

Welcome to Columbia!

I am your legal research instructor, and this fall, we will meet four times in Room 104 to cover the basics of legal research.

In anticipation of our first meeting, you may decide to read an introduction to U.S. law and legal research – so,  go here, and access its contents free-of-charge!

Also, you may want to read my new book, Introduction to U.S. Law, Policy and Research – An Environmental Perspective (co-author Peter Bower, Vandeplas Publishing, 2019). is an up-to-date, improved and substantially different book on how to do legal research. before August 16.

Introduction to U.S. Law, Policy and Research – An Environmental Perspective is available to you
