Upcoming Admitted Student Program on March 25-26
For those of you who have not already visited, the Admitted Student Program represents a unique opportunity to learn about us. The two-day Admitted Student Programs highlight certain aspects of the Law School that are important to incoming students and offer you the opportunity to explore further areas that are of particular interest to you.
Some of the events are formal introductions to Columbia Law School’s excellent programs and opportunities: they include a panel presentation by members of our faculty on contemporary legal issues, a discussion with alumni currently working in public interest, and the chance to go head to head with the Socratic Method in a mock class.
Just as significant to your visit, however, is the opportunity to become acquainted with members of the community in an informal setting. To that end, we have planned a number of events to help facilitate interaction with faculty, students, and administrators, such as a luncheon and gourmet breakfast with faculty and others. In addition, you may opt to take a break to mingle with students and each other at the student organization fair or the student lounge.
Some other notable activities include the chance to view apartments, visit regular classes, and speak directly with some of our administrators and program directors. Attending our Admitted Student Program is the best way to get a feel for our offerings, and we are certain that your experience will confirm that Columbia Law School is the right choice for you. You may register on the Admitted Students Website.
