African Economic Forum 2013
Initiated in 2004, the African Economic Forum has grown to be the largest Africa-focused event at Columbia University with over 500 participants last year.
The conference seeks to highlight opportunities and challenges through stimulating discussion, insights and strategies for a prosperous Africa. It is organized by three of Columbia University’s premiere graduate programs: Columbia Graduate School of Business, Columbia Law School, and Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, and is the only one of its kind at a top tier institution.
The Forum brings together current students, alumni, faculty and the professional business community. We will convene thought leaders and entrepreneurs from the continent and the Diaspora in a series of interactive discussions and conversations while providing ample opportunity for networking in a relaxed environment.
The 2013 African Economic Forum will take place March 1st-2nd at Columbia Business School.
